Operating Partner- Jungle Venture

Alexander Jarvis is the operating partner of the leading Singapore-based venture capital fund – Jungle Venture. He is responsible of the Southeast Asian investments, which his current investments include Mobikon, iMoney and TradeGecko.

Lim Kuo-Yi

Co-founder & Partner – Monk’s Hill Ventures

Lim Kuo Yi is the founding partner of Monk’s Hill Ventures, Singapore-based technology venture fund focused on early-stage Southeast Asian startups and world-class growth-stage startups entering Asia.

Frank Lee

Investment Manager – TNF Ventures

With strong understanding of tech start-up and fund environment in Singapore and Southeast Asia, Frank Lee is currently the investment manager of TNF Ventures. His job includes series aA investments into tech-based start-ups.

Seow Choong Huei

Head of Investment – Jobstreet

Seow Choong Huei is the Head of Investment of Jobstreet. He specializes in ICT software and services,internet and mobile with over 20 years of industry and investment work experience in senior roles.

Rameez Ansar


Responsibilities of Rameez Ansar at TechCube8 cover proprietary deal pipeline, leading transactions in early to growth stage plays. He is also in charge of hands-on support to TechCube8 portfolio CEOs in formulating and executing their strategies.

Brian Wee

Partner– 8Capita

Currently a partner at 8Capita, Brian Wee dreams real estate and is a techie at heart. He co-founded JOMsocial with Azrul, which was followed by his stints in Equity Research and Sales in Citibank and Morgan Stanley.

Vinnie Lauria

Managing Partner – Golden Gate Ventures

Vinnie Lauria is founding partner of Golden Gate Ventures, an early stage seed fund for startups in Southeast Asia with strong ties to Silicon Valley. Working with National Research Foundation, Vinnie is investing and coaching early stage startups with the hopes to bring Silicon Valley spirit to Southeast Asia.

David Tjokrorahardjo

Managing Principal- Sovereign’s Capital

David Tjokrorahardjo is the Managing Principal of Sovereign’s Capital, a US-based private equity with global investment portfolios in Technology, Health Care and Consumer Products. That aside, he is the non-operational director of Duta Tunggal Indonesia which he co-founded in 2010. DTI focuses on real estate development, energy and consumer product.

Ng Sai Kit

General Manager – Group Corporate Development of Captii

Sai Kit is responsible for strategic planning, investments and acquisitions at Captii. He has over 18 years experience in financial advisory, corporate finance and audit in a variety of industries including technology, telecommunications, property development, financial services and manufacturing.  Sai Kit also has significant start-up experience in mobile content, mobile advertising and digital marketing ventures.

Lau Kin Wai

CEO – Fatfish Internet Group Ltd

A well recognised serial tech-entrepreneur in Southeast Asia, Mr Lau founded his first tech company when he was 23. Since then, Mr Lau has taken 3 tech companies public.

Ronnie Wee

Founder & Managing Partner -Incuvest

Ronnie has 20+ years in consulting, startups, angel investment, financial services, government, telco and technology. He started his career with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) focusing primarily in Technology Solutions in Financial Services, Telecommunications and Government sectors. Ronnie was the founder of PlaNET Technology Solutions, a software and solutions company, which was eventually sold to Singapore-listed Datacraft Asia.

He was also involved in several startups throughout Asia, one of which was successfully listed on the NASDAQ second board . He is a co-founder of Sirius Angel Fund, a $20m angel fund co-investing with the Singapore Government in innovative, early stage companies.

Chok Kwee Bee

Managing Director - Teak Capital

Ms Chok Kwee Bee is the Managing Director of Teak Capital. Prior to that she was with Walden International, a Silicon Valley based venture capital firm, overseeing the operations of Walden International and BI Walden in Malaysia. Before becoming a VC, she was Head of Corporate Finance at AmInvestment Bank.

Kwee Bee is currently a member of the Malaysian Venture Capital Development Council (MVCDC) which was formed under the auspices of the Securities Commission; a non executive Board member of the Audit Oversight Board and a member of the Exchange Committee of Labuan International Financial Exchange.

Kwee Bee was also a past Chairman of the Malaysian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (MVCA).

Juliana Jan

Vice President of Investment & Relationship Management – Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd

Juliana Jan joined Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd in 2004 and is currently the Vice President of Vice President Investment & Relationship Management responsible for managing the CIP500 Evaluation unit.

Juliana has diverse experience in market research and grant as well as venture capital funding. She has a Bachelors of Science degree in Economics from the Missouri University of Science and Technology – Rolla.

Azrul Rahim

SND Ventures

After quitting his investment analyst job, Azrul has been working on various software development projects over the last 10 years. He has been involved in the early days of mobile development, content management, and social application. He was the founder of “Facer”, the #1 best-selling application launcher for PalmOS and co-founded JomSocial, #1, white label social networking software, with Brian Wee. He holds a degree in Information System Engineering from Imperial College.

Jonathan Lee

Head of Business DevelopmentMYEG

Johnathan comes from a diverse background with over 15 years in commercial and investment experience in various industries ranging from finance, to health education, to technology. He holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship and a Bachelor of Commerce from Otago School of Business.
Having spent his formative years in New Zealand, Johnathan was engaged by incubators and investors to focus on fast business growth as well as securing investments for technology companies. He strongly believes that a combination of factors including a strong team, a good “go-to-market” strategy and execution, along with financial support are vital to grow a successful business.
Johnathan joined My E.G. Services Berhad (MyEG) in 2014 as the Head of Business Development Division. There, his responsiblities are to seek out and develop business opportunities for MyEG, its subsidiaries and also investments.
Prior to joining MyEG, Johnathan was part of the senior management team of the Malaysia Ministry of Finance owned Cradle Fund Sdn Bhd (Cradle). There he led a team that offered business and investment advisory, and the commercialisation of technology start-ups. Under his leadership, Cradle was acknowledged in the industry for having one of the highest commercialisation rates for its investments. In 2013, Johnathan was instrumental in setting up Cradle’s venture capital fund – Cradle Seed Ventures (CSV) and he was designated as CSV’s interim Chief Investment Officer.

Kuan Hsu

Principal – Gree Ventures

Kuanhua Hsu joined GREE Ventures in 2012 and serves as Principal of GREE Ventures Asia. Based in Singapore, Kuanhua oversees GREE Ventures’ overall Southeast Asia operations as well as advising portfolio companies. Kuanhua has led GREE Venture’s rapid expansion in Southeast Asia, leveraging his expertise in the TMT sector, investment experience, and wide network. Kuanhua started his career as a consultant with McKinsey & Company before moving on to work in supply change management at technology manufacturer Solectron Corporation. He received his MBA from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, remaining in the U.S. to enter investment banking at Goldman Sachs, where he specialized in the TMT sector. After that and prior to joining GREE, he moved to Singapore to serve as an associate director at Temasek Holdings, driving investments in the FIG sector.

Khailee Ng

Managing Partner  - 500 Startups

Khailee built and sold 2 companies in his 4 year career as an entrepreneur: GroupsMore (acquired by Groupon) and SAYS.com (acquired by Catcha Group). He is now a Managing Partner at 500 Startups, where he builds bridges between emerging markets and Silicon Valley, and takes care of the “500 Durians” Southeast Asia fund, investing in the next generation of Southeast Asia’s most promising startups.
